TINDINK/ BUSTLEPUNK Apart from moving another activity keeping our Diminutive Delight away from her computer has been her attendance at various Steampunk Conventions in her Flying Airpirate outfit. She has refrained from any flights in it since that high speed descent into the Huddersfield Canal that happened on the last illadvised attempt. I told her those wings were too small for any real flying. Click HERE She asked me to classify my post as Bustlepunk as nobody ever notices her bustle

Cloggy :—That has cheered up a rain and gale lashed day, a post from Dink. :))))))))  Whey Hey. tindink: It’s been ages and ages since I updated my blog and for any friends and/or followers who have stuck with me, can I say how much I appreciate it! (apart from the spammers that is…they can bugger off!) Such a lot of lovely things have been happening during the summer, chiefly deciding to relocate completely from South Wales to live in North Wales with my partner, Will and my little dog, Winston. Prior to this decision I was alll set to do a foundation course in Art and Design which would have just begun and to start with, it was planned for me to do as a part time course over two years and continue with my job. How plans change!  After much thinking and doing some sums I decided to follow my instincts and up sticks and move to the beautiful Isle of Anglesey in North Wales to be with Will and his family and I’m so glad that I did….I couldn’t have hoped for more if I’d made a ‘wishlist’! So, this summer we’ve been out and about exploring and enjoying some lovely weather (it’s piddling down now!) and taking the odd photo here and there. I’ve just bought a new camera because it’s so beautiful round here but til I get used to it…here are some photos taken with my old trusty point and shoot. The pics above are Rhosneigr….the beach is too big to be snapped in one photo unless you are in a helicopter but it is gorgeous and photos (particularly mine) don’t do it justice. Winston has had to make some adjustments too but he’s learning fast!!! I hope you’ve had a good summer too!

TINDINK Another activity keeping our Diminutive Delight away from her computer has been practice and participation in The Welsh Bogsnorkling Championship at Llanwrtyd Wells. Here she is at the end of her winning snork  in the Ladies Under 60 kg Class. She got a taste for this total immersion lark in her ‘being fired from the cannon’ days when she plunged into the lake at Vasey Castle or the Huddersfield canal at the end of her short but spectacular flights. TINDINK Followers of our Tiny Treasure will, as I have, missed her since Real Life cut off her computer time. I am pleased to tell you that I managed to get in touch with her and she and Winston are doing fine and things are going well for her. She has been very busy and one thing that has taken up her time was rehearsing for her part in The London Olympics opening ceremony where she flew The Rocket Wing. She sent me this picture of her during rehearsals. She promised to keep in touch and sends her love.

Just the thing for Dink!! After being fired from a cannon, flying the Rocket Wing and jumping through blazing hoops, a big motorbike won’t faze her. Quote:—The fuel injected, 45 degree 6728 cc / 410 cubic inch V-Twin runs through a 3 speed transmission with reverse and actually looks pretty good in its finished state compared to the initial photos, in fact, everything looks good. It puts out 523 foot pounds of torque. Seat height is 31.5 inches and overall length is 136 inches. It is a little heavy at 1433 pounds so high speed corner carving might be an issue and there aren’t any photos of the big bike on the road so I guess we’ll have to wait for the road test, that is if someone can actually road test this monster.” Found HERE
