The extremely talented LotD made this dress from Ellaine’s drawing ‘Dark Cabaret’.
Quote:- “Recognise it? Ellaine let me make the dress in her deviation ‘Dark Cabaret’ [link]. I made this against the clock as I really wanted to take it on holiday with me, a fair amount of this dress was completed by hand while on a train. I think if I’d had a little more time I would have waited until I could get a slightly thinner stripe for the bustle.The top skirt and bustle are separate with the bustle put together as 4 pieces. The top fastens with little buttons hidden under the front ruffles and pleats out at the bottom to give the impression that I am wearing a corset underneath without actually having to wear one.”
