ROYSTON VASEY NOTES AND NEWS The Royston Vasey Wine Circle My Wine Correspondent tells me that this months meeting of The Royston Vasey Wine Circle was held at the Gimcrack Rooms at York Racecourse on Thursday last, to coincide with Ladies Day of the Ebor Meeting. My correspondent tells me that the hats were a real eye opener but not as eye opening as the Wine Circle Meeting. Of particular note was the speed at which, after her first glass, the demur Miss Timkins, Hon Sec, shed her inhibitions and twin set and pearls to reveal one of Maris Pipers latest creations. The normal raising up of the God Bachus by means of a pentacle and incantations went slightly awry, as due to horsy atmosphere a Centaur appeared instead, which can be seen on the right. Suggestions of running him the 2-30 the following day were considered by the committee but reluctantly dismissed as likely to cause trouble with The Jockey Club. It should be noted that many of the lady members are also customers at Kinky Korsets.

Suggestions of running him the 2-30 the following day were considered by the committee but reluctantly dismissed as likely to cause trouble with The Jockey Club.
It should be noted that many of the lady members are also customers at Kinky Korsets.

ROYSTON VASEY NOTES AND NEWS Miss Timkins was today pulled over in Sewer Lane today and given a police caution for riding her Scooter while not wearing a helmet. She said it was so hot and sunny she had thrown caution to the winds and completely forgotten about the mandatory headgear. She was reminded also by the constable to make sure her sun block was a sufficiently high factor as the body need protection as well as the head. Of course it’s from Ani, Princess of The Dark Continent

The Abandoned Buildings Society

With Kahlila Gibran occupied with Mrs Una Perssons visit it was left to Miss Timkins to lead the Society’s visit to the old Slaithwaite Bath and Fireplace Factory. Unfortunately Miss Timkins brought with her a supply of her special distilled potato wine, as a result proceedings got out of hand as can be seen in the accompanying picture of Gabriela Ratchet pretending it is her bath night.
Kahlila is to hold an enquiry into what happened. Meanwhile the Membership Secretary has been overwhelmed by membership enquires since this picture and the ones of Gabriela stepping into and out of the bath started circulating in The Mason’s Arms.
Note:-
Mizred tasted Miss Timkins special distilled potato wine on one visit to the RedHead Appreciation Society and said it was the finest moonshine she’d tasted outside Tennessee.
