ROYSTON VASEY NOTES AND NEWS
I was having a quiet pint of “Old Horizontal” in the Mason’s Arms last night when William Butterfield leaned on the bar alongside of me. William is the MD of Dreadnaught Corsets.
“All reet?” he asks.
“Fair to middlin” I reply “un thee?”
“Bout same” says William. I wait expectantly.
“I wor looking at that blog o’ thine last neet, about yon Dita Von Teese. Good customer of ours, tha knows. Has t’smallest waist av come across in 40 years of corsetting. Av fun this in t’drawer wi t’advertising stuff. That might like to put it in thi blog”
With which he handed me the picture above.
TOPHAT PUNK
“Captain Cloggy, since you asked, I will show you what a hat should look like” said Luceplace”I’ll show you a Hat” and she posted this on her page. Now that IS a hat, a hat to knock your socks off, as it has obviously done to its wearer along with a good deal else.:The lady is of course Dita Von Teese, famed among corset cognoscenti for her tiny waist. She is a regular customer of the Dreadnaught Corset Company and frequently visits the factory for fittings of her hand crafted Waspies. She always calls in The Mason’s Arms for a Pie and Pint when she is in the village, very fond of her mushy peas is Dita. When her husband, Marilyn Manson comes with her they always stop over until Sunday so that he can sing with the choir of The United Church of The Foolish Virgins, very generous in the collection too. A lovely couple.
Wow. I mean: like wow!
