A Carwash by the young ladies of the Choir of the United Church of the Foolish Virgins in aid of Church funds took place on Saturday. It was overseen by `Botox’ Beryl Butterfield , in the absence of her father, the Rev Billy Butterfield who was called away unexpectedly to Pontefract Races. The event was a great success, the line of motorists wanting to have their cars washed by the bikini clad choirgirls stretched nearly to Marsden. Master Li, not having a vehicle of his own at the moment, borrowed several of his neighbors cars, and took them to be washed, an act typical of his generous nature.
Among the Choirgirls taking part were these three fine Yorkshire lasses.- left to right
Antoinette Gastambide, Delphina Martineau and Mercedes Jellinek
