Mr A.C. Pitt- Rivers of the Royston Vasey Corset Museum has written to me to point out that in the post HERE Blenda is wearing a very fine specimen of a Viking Corset very similar to that excavated by him and Dr Bradbury-Winter in their dig at Smörgåsbord. He is, along with fellow Trustees Anitab and Frenchtwist , at present in talks with the West Yorkshire Police on the possibility of offering their Policewomen a modern version instead of the bulky and shapeless protective flack jackets they wear now.
