I just got home after two days travelling to find the bloody central heating won’t work.
Unfortunately the emergency engineer won’t visit because I was on holiday when the annual inspection work was due…..so now I have to wait til Monday (I have to work on Monday) to contact them again even though another appointment was rescheduled for an inspection to be carried out on the 31st…………..bugger!

Look for a ‘circuit breaker or ‘reset button’ for the heating system. Make certain the thermostat is in the ‘heat’ position if it is one of those programmable jobs, and that the batteries are still good. Good luck and welcome home!
