CORSETPUNK
Things have been very quiet on the corset front lately. Last time there was any activity was when we were trying to find a riding corset for Kahlila to wear under her Victorian Ladies Sidesaddle Riding Outfit. They have to be cut away at the sides to allow freedom of movement.
The whole question of whether Kahlila will in fact take part in the ceremonies involved in The Royston Vasey Steampunk Convention is in doubt. Then there is the question of jumping through the blazing hoops while on horseback that seemed to faze Kahlila a bit, though Tindink said there was nothing to it as she’d done it hundreds of times when she was an Equestrian in the circus. Meanwhile here is a picture of Jane Fonda in a rather stunning striped corset to keep you corset cognoscenti going for a while.
And for fans of the equally delightful Tindink here is a picture of her in her circus days, talking to Bingo the clown who used to put his head in the lions mouth, but we don’t like talking about that. Tindink tells me that after several leaps through the blazing hoops her dress became even more abbreviated but the applause ever louder.
