These are for fellow Sherlockian Purple Gem but you can look at them too. On a Sunday morning visit to the Manchester Aerospace Museum I popped round to the Granada TV’s back lot, next door, to see the set they were building for their Sherlock Holmes series to star Jeremy Brett as Holmes. There was a security man there but I walked briskly past his hut with a cheery “Good Morning” and a wave, as though I had every right to be there. He looked up from his paper and nodded. I was in !!. You can see from pics Baker Street was just fronts. Interiors were shot in studio. Taken 1982.
